I've always loved reading but never seemed to find time for it during my undergrad and I've been thrilled to get back into it. I read an eclectic mix of adult and young adult fiction, as well as non-fiction (mostly memoirs). I try to post a review for every book I read.
Many of the books reviewed on this site come from publishers, but I also have a decent personal collection and love the library. The source of each book is indicated in the review, but does not at all influence my impressions of the book.

I read mainly fiction, though I do appreciate a good memoir or essay collection. I love poetry, short stories, YA fiction of all flavors, plays, mysteries, historical fiction, GLBTQ, fantasy, sci-fi, true crime, and independently published works. (Particularly those from authors in Ohio or Colorado—my two homes!)
I devour books like most people eat chocolate chip cookies: frequently, quickly, and with great joy.
